Leonard Fox Obituary
91, passed away at his home in Redlands on April 7, 2012. Pastor Leonard Fox, as he is widely known, was a minister for 70 years. He started a church back in the early 1940's called Muscoy Community Church which became Inland Christian Center Church located in Colton. Pastor Leonard and his wife Rozella traveled around the world ministering in many churches. They also established mission works among the Native American Indians and a Bible School in Kenya, East Africa, in the late 1950's. Preceded in death by his wife in 2003, as well as his son Sid in 1996 and his son Pastor Steve in 2010, he is survived by his children, Sonny Fox of Highland, Sharon Cranford of Nairobi Kenya, East Africa, Sylvia Pergrin of Pomona and Stan Fox of Colton; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 13th at 7pm at Amistad Cristiana Church, 863 North Mountain View in San Bernardino. Private interment will be at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton. I Pray that the church in Colton will be blessed in the future and all the Fox Family is well . I loved your Father very much as I loved my pastor David Schock . He will always be a fond memory of my teen years at camp and I miss all my friends from that period . Loved this man as a young boy . I looked up to his ability to reach so many young people . He is missed by all who knew him . I went to Bethany Chapel in Long Beach so we were among the youth group of a few churches for summer and winter camps as well as gatherings every few months at one of the churches . Miss those days . I will find Leonard one day in the heavens .

Ill never forget Pastor Fox as long as i live . He truly showed gods love towards all and with such a caring attitude. Leonard and his wife were so loved by all not only their church but the many churches they came to be guest speakers at like Bethany chapels Anniversary services. i always respected this man so much and im sure hes looking down on us all cheering us on in our journey . God Bless your grandson in leading the church in your footsteps.

i am michael ilich of pastor David Shocks church in long beach. i was just thinking about the fox family and all the other familys of god that had great church camps up in big bear as i was a young guy . leonard and his wife were a precious couple . i remember sid stan and sylvia . the preacher creature baseball games and such great youth rallies i pray your all doing well and will be victorious through this pandemic . i now attend pastor dan carols church water of life in fontana . i know sylvia would remember the pack girls pam and shelly . god bless all your family ill be praying for you all ,michael ilich your parents were loved by my family and church

Pastor Fox was the real deal as a young man and young Christian I was ministered to by him he was an example in the church and in the pulpit but I also had the pleasure of playing golf with him a few times and he was a gentleman there as well. When we lose men like him I'm not sure there being replaced we need men like pastor Fox in the world and in the church today once at a church function when we were all fellow shipping after a great meal he put his arm on my shoulder and said "look around Robby this is what it is all about," he said "it's the people God wants us to love and minister to them that is the ministry" I have remembered that for over 20 years and it has been the cornerstone of all my ministry. If I have done any good at all in God's kingdom then surely Pastor fox shares in God's recognition. Thank you Pastor

My Pastor,
What an honor it was to have you speak into my life since I was 5 yrs old- even when I did not seek it.
My destiny was prophetically changed, when Pastor Fox spoke the Spirit into my life.
He'd always catch the teenagers before we could slip out at the of the service with His Eye Lock & ask how we were.
Words cannot describe the foundation that he and his family built in my life. My heart feels the Loss of a Great Man, but Heaven rejoices over another Honorable Son coming home.
Glad He is with His wife and sons in Heaven.

Pastor Fox was a true "Father".He trusted us who were new, to step out and get our feet wet.
In ministering with my choir the first time, he looked right at me and said, "
iS THERE ANYONE HERE WHO CAN LEAD MY WORSHIP" I want these young prophets to learn how to sing the song of the Lord." Talk about being instant in season.
He had a sign on his office door that said," I must hasten to catch up with them for I am their leader".

Brother Fox was an enormous part of my familys life through four generations. He and his beautful wife will be missed but always in our hearts. They are with Spencer now and are catching up on old times. Wonderful FAMILY.

We have so many wonderful memories of Pastor Leonard. He blessed our lives for so many years through his gifted word, and powerful prophetic ministry.. He was an example to everyone, and seemed to always be able to change with the seasons and stay current with what God was doing. He is loved and will be missed.

My condolences to the Fox family and may God bless all of you abundantly and comfort you in this time of your loss. I got born again and received the Holy Spirit at the old church in Muscoy many years ago. Pastor and Mrs. Fox were profoundly instrumental in my life, and in many others, in regards to spiritual matters. I'm absolutely sure that they both will receive a plethora of crowns and rewards in Heaven. May God bless the entire Fox family.
