Mr. Albert Q. Romo
Jan. 24, 1932-April 10, 2012

Albert Q. Romo Sr. passed away in San Diego, CA. due to natural causes. He is survived by his children; Levi, Lonnie, Celeste, Cynthia, Cecilia, Cathy, Cassandra, Albert Romo Jr. and former wife Carmen. He is preceded in death by his Son Lawrence Romo,1984.

Grandfather of 14, great-grandchildren 21 and one great-great- grandchild. Born in Alhambra, CA to Sabas Romo and Marcelina Ayala. A graduate from Alhambra H.S. Veteran of Armed Forces of United States Army/ National Guards, Korean War, Sgt/Maj. 40th Infantry Div, 3rd Bn. 223rd Inf. Reg. Late 1960's Civil Rights activist and Brown Beret in Chicano Movement. Involved in several community outreach programs such as Urban League, anti-gang ,Teen Post and La Raza.
His dedication and hard work to his family, country, and community has left footprints in many hearts. He will be missed but not forgotten,in memory or spirit.

Funeral services: Friday, April 20, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery 2400 Fair Oaks Ave Altadena, CA. Time: 1:00-4:00, reception 4:00-8:00 Eagle's Hall 455 E. Woodbury Rd, Altadena, CA.
