Born in Gypsum, Ohio, passed away at home in Grand Terrace California. His parents, Rocco and Carmela Montagnese, sisters Teresa Naro, Rosemary Fisher and brothers Anthony and Frank preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rose Mary Montagnese, son Rocco Montagnese, daughter Carmela Torres, son-in-law Adam Torres, grandchildren Britney and Adam II and great granddaughter, Makenzie. He was a resident of the Inland Empire for more than sixty years. He served in the United States Air Force from 1942-1945 as a Technical Sergent in the 3035th. He was a stockbroker and retired from Paine Webber in 1992. Jim, his sense of humor and guitar playing will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him. A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Grand Terrace.
