Lavada L. Senter
96, passed away June 10, 2012 in Redlands, CA. Lavada was born on September 23, 1915, to Genevieve and Edward Knight in Dekalb County, Alabama. She married Lawrence Senter on December 22, 1931. Together they had 3 children, Wayne(deceased), Rose Marie and Gary. She is survived by her children, 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Besides being a dutiful house wife, she worked as a professional seamstress and later she and Lawrence managed various mobile parks. Lavada's children always came first in her life. She knew when each of the children had special needs and would nurture those needs in a loving way. Her accomplishments were her children, her friends and her work. She will be dearly missed by all. We love you mom and you will always be in our prayers. Memorial services will be held on June 21 at 10 am in the chapel at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 East Washington St., Colton, CA. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Lavada may be made to the Heart Institute of Southern CA.
