GLORIA P. PEREZ
Born June 20, 1952 and ascended into Heaven November 25, 2012, to reunite with her parents Epimenio and Hortensia Perez.
Gloria grew up in San Fernando, California with her four brothers; Freddy, Danny, Rudy, and Gilbert. Along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins who often gathered together as a close family. One of Gloria's favorite things to do as a young girl was to hang out with her girl cousins and listen to Oldies but Goodies. They would sing along to the music and have the best of times. Gloria always had a smile on her face.
In August of 1974 Gloria married the love of her life; Ramon Perez. They moved to Sherman Oaks, California. In October of 1976 she gave birth to their only child Deanna Laura Perez. Gloria's husband and daughter meant everything to her. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them.
Gloria was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, comadre, God mother and especially a loving friend to so many.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 38 years; Ramon Perez; daughter, Deanna; son-in-law, Greg; and grandchildren, Desired, Anthony, Ruben and Ramon. Along with her numerous God children, aunts uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Gloria will truly be missed by so many and she will never be forgotten!
Services Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m., at Utter McKinley San Fernando Mission Mortuary, located at 11071 Columbus Ave., Mission Hills, CA 91345, with a rosary prayer at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday, December 7, 2012, 10:30 a.m., at St. Ferdinand's Church, 1109 Coroner St., San Fernando, CA 91340.
