Robert P. Braun
78, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2013 at home with his wife, Joyce, by his side. He is also survived by his daughter, Kimberlee; his sister, Toots in Palo Alto, California; and his brother, Rusty in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Bob graduated from Notre Dame University in 1956, and was a big fan of the Fighting Irish. Soon after graduation he began his career at Uniroyal. Eventually he and his family had the opportunity to transfer from Mishawaka, Indiana to sunny Redlands, California in 1979. He retired from Uniroyal as Plant Manager, and then was hired by Carson-Brooks as Plant Manager, working there for many years.
Bob had a keen mind for numbers and liked a good game of poker. He enjoyed ushering at Sacred Heart Church for many years on Saturday evenings. His greatest pleasure, however, was spending time with Joyce.
Memorial mass will be at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 115 W. Olive in Redlands at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, January 22nd.
