STRANGE, Veneta Hayden

Veneta Hayden Strange (aka: Aunt Vikki, aka: Barona's Aunt Vikki, aka Matriarch of the Hayden-Walker Family Legacy)
departed this life on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
She was born in Seattle, Washington on October 28, 1922 to Robert Daniel Hayden of Coffeeville, Kansas, and Mary Gray of Bluefield Virginia. She was employed by and retired from the County of Los Angeles after 33 years of service. During the early years of her employment, she worked for Berry Gordy's Motown Records at their Capitol Building in Hollywood, California.
She served as a member of the Eastern Stars, the Red Hat Society, and the Altadena Senior Citizen Center.
She will be missed by her sister, Evelyn Bennett (Sonny) of Los Angeles, several nephews and nieces, her Altadena Senior Citizen family, her Barona family, and a host of family and friends from coast-to-coast.
A Memorial Reception luncheon has been scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Almansor Court.
