June 27, 1961—January 23, 2013
Nicho 51, of Fontana, was born in Los Angeles & was a lifetime resident of the Pomona Valley: Dennis [Nicho] graduated from Sacred Heart Pomona & Garey High School, attended Chaffey College & was 1 class course away from graduating with a B. S. in Business from Argosy University. Family was everything to Dennis always looking forward to the next family birthday, anniversary, reunion or picnic. His physical presence, humor and smile will be dearly missed. He LUVED music & was known locally as Dee Jay Dennis. Those who knew Nicho knew him as our hero always wanting to be better. Dennis & his wife, Geraldine, would've been married 30 years in May. He is also survived by 5 children [Denise, Elizabeth, Jessica, Jennifer & Dennis], 4 grandchildren, & 7 siblings [Jannie L. Olson, Gloria E. Garcia, Anthony R. Garcia, Carlos Garcia, Javier Garcia, Dolores M. Garcia & Maria James Garcia]. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio & Maria Luisa Garcia. A viewing will take place at Todd's Memorial Chapel in Pomona on Tuesday, Feb. 5th from 4pm with a rosary @ 6pm. Mass will be held @ St. Joseph's Catholic Church Pomona @ 9am on Wednesday, February 6th. A celebration reception will take place at Pilgrim Congregational Church after the internment @ Holy Cross Cemetery.
