Gerald "Jerry" Hurlbert
79, of Alta Loma, went on to be with the Lord on April 29, 2013. Jerry was born on April 9th, 1943 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He graduated high school in Plain View, Texas- Jerry went on to serve 2 years in the U.S. Army as a medic. He married his loving wife Delores on December 8th 1954. In 1956 Jerry had his first child, a son named Ricky- four years later his daughter Cecilia was born. The Hurlbert family moved from Ontario, CA to Alta Loma, CA in 1973. Jerry worked in finance for SIC where he eventually became a district manager. He proudly rode with the Christian Motorcyclist Association for 35 years. Jerry Hurlbert was a loving husband and father, an ambitious business man, and a caring Christian who loved the Lord. He was loved by his family and friends, he will be truly missed. Jerry is survived by his wife Delores Wayne Hurlbert, Children including his Son Rick Hurlbert and Daughter Cecilia Gorman, five grandchildren- Jeremy Hoppe, Rebecca Hurlbert, Michael Gorman, Leslie Janse, and Renee Torres, and his two great grandchildren Natalie and Jacob Gorman. A memorial service for Gerald "Jerry" Hurlbert will be held on Monday May 6th, 2013 at 11 A.M. Water of Life Community Church 7623 East Ave Rancho Cucamonga, CA 92336.
