Agustin G. Vasquez
65, of Eastvale, died peacefully on June 3, 2013 at his home in Eastvale, California. Mr. Vasquez was born February 24, 1948 in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico to his parents Eustolia and Agustin Vasquez. Mr. Vasquez grew up in Guadalajara and Tijuana Mexico and attended school there. He immigrated to the United States in 1965 and lived with relatives and friends in Pomona before moving to Chino in 1972.
Mr. Vasquez known to his friends and family as "Augie", was a resident of Chino for 36 years and continued to have his diesel repair shop in Chino on the corner of Euclid and Chino Ave.
Mr. Vasquez was the owner and operator of Torque Wrench Inc. since 1990 and previously had a trucking business in Chino. He loved to be at his shop and put his heart and soul into repairing the trucks he worked on.
He is survived by his wife Susanna Vasquez and his children Gabriel, Savannah, Katelynn, and step daughter Vanessa Alarcon of Eastvale, also his oldest son and daughter Mario and Marissa Vasquez of Chino.
He was the oldest of 11 children; his 5 brothers, 5 sisters and mother still reside in various places in and around Southern California. Mr. Vasquez was preceded in death by his father Agustin Vasquez.
Services will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2013 with a viewing from 5-8pm at Pierce Brothers Crest Lawn Memorial Park and his burial services will take place on Thursday June 13, 2013 at 10 am also at Pierce Brothers Crest Lawn Memorial Park at 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside, CA. 92505.
