Lee Douglas Woolever

Lee Douglas Woolever, born June 2, 1948, entered into eternal life on September 25, 2013, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Lee was born and raised in Long Beach, CA, graduated from Millikan High School in 1966. He proudly served in the Air Force in Vietnam, returned home safely and joined the Long Beach Fire Department in 1976 until he retired in 2008. His passions included sailing the world, flying his airplane, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Arlene and Doug Woolever; his brother, Tim; his children, Shelby and Justin; and his 5 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Westminster Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 2 at 12 pm, to be followed by a celebration of life reception at the Seal Beach Yacht Club from 1 to 5 pm.
