I taught Samantha a few years ago at the middle school. Besides being a top-notch student, I remember her as a student with a remarkably pleasant personality with an almost non-stop smile. Like Samantha's personality, the memories that everyone has of her can be nothing other than pleasant ones. Thoughts and prayers...Shirley Clements

Tammy, Andy and Steven, as many have mentioned words cannot describe or take away the pain of losing a child, a parent should never have to do this, God has truly gained a beautiful angel as we here on earth have lost an angel, Sam was always a joy to be around and having a daughter of her age and also a friend of Sam's makes this so much harder on so many of us to accept this great loss. She will be in our hearts forever. God Bless and stay strong

Tammy & Andy
There will be a physical void this year during our high school softball season but Sam's spiritual presence will be with us forever. She gave the team so much pleasure with her infectious smile and personality. Her picture will be in my scorebook this season to remind us of the wonderful person and player she was. We will all miss her but she will be in our memories forever. You can be proud of the wonderful daughter you raised.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

The Shepherd

So long ago a lamb was slain,
Left helpless to atone,
For all the things He never did,
Nor ever would have done.

Behold though has a shepherd come,
From whence was just a lamb.
A friend to hold us in embrace—
'Tis He who helps us stand.

And in your time of troubled pain,
He will hold you as well.
A lighthouse, He will guide you through,
This lonely ocean's swell.

So as the shepherd takes your hand,
To guide you on your way,
Take comfort for it's He with whom,
Your lamb now walks today ...
