I just heard that Agnes has passed away. My thoughts are with the family at this time. I have some very fond memories of Agnes, both while visiting Deer Lake in Pa. and when she vitied my mother Stasia here in Iceland. We had many a good laugh. I think she inherited some of that Irish humour. I gave her a can of pure Icelandic air which I believe she kept in her home. We always called her Aunt Agnes in our family. That is how dear she was to us. May peace and comfort find you during this difficult time.

Dear Maribeth and David, Brian and Clare, Anne and Mark and Gerri and Anne.
I feel so sad today after learning of Agnes' passing away. Please accept my deepest condolences. She and my mother, Stasia, were great friends from their childhood, and Agnes was really mother's best friend. She even visited my mother in Iceland. I have lovely memories of Agnes from my visit to her home in 1987 and she kept in contact with my mother all the years my mother lived here in Iceland (died 2 September 2013) and then she gave me great comfort after that. She was a very kind and generous woman. Long may her memory live. Everlasting memory.
May the Good Lord bless you all.

Brian, Anne, Maribeth and Gerry:
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was always so warm and kind when I was at your house when our parents got together. She had a great sense of humor and I can still hear her wonderful laugh. Over the last ten years I had occasion to chat with her when she'd call my mom and I happened to be at my mom's house. Even though I hadn't seen her for years she was always gracious and interested in the welfare of my family. She was so proud of all of you. I hope your memories of what a remarkable woman she was carry you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Dear Brian, Anne, Maribeth and Gerri,
Having spent countless hours as a child and a teenager in the Kelly home, I can only say I have nothing but the fondest memories of both Agnes and Ned. Anne and I were quite instrumental in providing Agnes with many a gray hair. It was the fun house to be! They were always so warm and receptive and never minded having so many of us afoot. It was even funnier when I married and moved across the street for a brief period of time. Agnes was a very strong woman with great Irish wit and spirit. She always stopped me whenever we met to catch up on everyone and tell me the latest about all of you. You were everything to her. She will be missed.
Love to you all!

Dear Kelly Family,
Everyone in my family was fond of Agnes. When last I spoke to her she followed up our conversation by sending me a box of photos she'd found of my family. I know that my parents had many great memories of the good times with Agnes, Ned, Sara, and Joe. Agnes was always a bright light in the room. Peace to all of you.

Dear Brian, Anne, Gerri and Mary Beth & Families,
So sorry for your loss. As you know our parents had a lot of good times together as we all did growing up. I believe I got to know your mother better in the past few years. She loved you all and bragged about your successes as she did of your children. What a lovely, classy lady I will miss our visits and luncheons that we shared.
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time. God Bless all of you.
