Hartranft, Albert L. "Albie" - Schuylkill Haven  
Albert L. "Albie" Hartranft, 60, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday at his residence while in the company of family members. Born in Pottsville, Jan. 16, 1956, he was a son of Shirley A.P. Moyer Hartranft, and the late Leon L. Hartranft. He was also preceded in death by a brother, David H. Hartranft, in 2005. He was the husband of Gayle H. Kauterman Hartranft, whom he married Sept. 30, 1978. Albie was raised in the Protestant faith. A graduate of Blue Mountain High School, he worked in many different capacities for more than 33 years at Hamburg Manufacturing Inc., Hamburg. Surviving, in addition to his mother, Shirley, and wife, Gayle, are a daughter, Danelle M. Hartranft, wife of David; two sons, David Hartranft and Barrett Hartranft, husband of Amanda; two sisters, Sonia L. Slish, widow of George, and Gail L. Zuniga, wife of Jose; a brother, Wayne "Marty" M. Hartranft; grandchildren, Chassidy, David, Madison and Carlisle. A religious service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Sunny L. Stock officiating. Hoffman, Paul C. - Tamaqua  
Paul C. Hoffman, father and grandfather, 88, of Tamaqua, passed away Tuesday at St. Luke's Hospital-Miners Campus, Coaldale. Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late Silas and Edna Schwartz Hoffman. He was the widower of Grace Long Hoffman, his wife of 62 years to whom Paul was devoted caregiver until her passing Nov. 1, 2015. A 1946 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Paul served honorably in the Army during the Korean War as a supply sergeant. Returning home, he worked at the former Bundy Tubing, Hometown, for 29 years as a foreman, and retired from Lehigh Asphalt, Andreas. Paul was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Mahoning. He was also affiliated with West Penn Lions Club and Tamaqua VFW. Paul was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin M. Harakel Sr.; sisters, Thelma Matruder, Mildred Wagner and Ruth Corinchock. Paul is survived by a daughter, Hope A. Harakel and her husband, Edward B., Tuscarora; son, Rene A. Hoffman and his wife, Stephanie, Downingtown; grandchildren, Eddie Harakel and his wife, Marika, Kelly Hoffman, and Shannon Lee and her husband, Travis; great-grandchildren, Mason Harakel, Hunter Harakel and Justin M. Harakel Jr.; nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church of Mahoning, with the Rev. Allison deForest officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment with military honors will take place in the church cemetery. Hosmer, Tamara L. - Buck Run  
Tamara Lee Hosmer, 46, of Buck Run, Foster Township, passed away on June 21 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. Hudock, Dolores Smith - Mahanoy City  
Dolores Smith Hudock, 84, formerly of Mahanoy City and Hershey, passed away Wednesday in Cincinnati, Ohio. There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hoover Funeral Home, US 422 and Lucy Avenue, Hershey. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey, with a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Hershey Cemetery.

Hudock, Dolores Smith - Mahanoy City  
Dolores Smith Hudock, Cincinnati, Ohio, died Wednesday. Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Smith. Dolly graduated from Mahanoy City High School. She married Andrew Hudock and moved to Hershey. They were married for more than 50 years and were blessed with two sons, Andrew Jr. and Steve. Dolly moved to Ohio due to health reasons to be closer to her son, Steve. In addition to her parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, and brother, Frank, in October 2015. Surviving, in addition to her sons, are grandchildren, Adam Hudock and Elise Hudock; brothers, John (Mary Cahill) and Ron; sister-in-law, Laura Hudock; sister, Margaret Mary Smith.
