Eugenia H. Scanlan, 91, a lifelong resident of Frackville, passed away Thursday in Charlotte, N.C.
She spent the last 15 months in Charlotte enjoying her family. They had many special and happy times together, and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Wabo; and great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Anne Freeman.
Eugenia is survived by her sister, Lorraine Stanton; two daughters, Sandy (Hyduk) and husband, Hank Webb, and Joyce (Hostler) and husband, Terry Rogers; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Frackville, with Monsignor William Glosser as the celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from noon until the time of Mass at the church. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Frackville Museum, 42 S. Center St., Frackville, PA 17931 or as mass cards in her memory at St. Joseph Parish, 7 S.
