Francis M. Condrack, 76, of Auburn, passed away Monday at home.
Born Aug. 27, 1936, in Port Carbon, he was a son of the late Francis and Margaret Condrack.
Francis was a graduate of Soldiers Memorial High School and went on to work in construction. He was a member of the Local Labor 471 and Boilermakers.
He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Korea.
Francis was an avid Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes fan and would arrive an hour before games just to watch the players warm up. He also followed all the Philadelphia teams: Eagles, 76ers, Phillies and Flyers.
He loved tending to his garden and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Arlin Bensinger.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Jane, and their son, Christopher Condrack, longtime companion of Denise, Tamaqua. He is also survived by a stepson, Harvey Bensinger, Douglasville; stepdaughters, Dee Dee Crane, wife of Paul, Auburn, and Suzan Conrad, widow of Keith, Selinsgrove; two sisters, Mary Tomechek and Delores Scanlan; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the
