Glenn Hepler Obituary

Glenn L. "Peck" Hepler, 81, of Gratz, died Wednesday at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Born in Gratz, July 28, 1928, he was a son of the late Harry and Laura Minnich Hepler. He was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School.

He retired from the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

He was a member of the Gratz Area Fire Company, Gratz Historical Society and NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, B. Lorraine Harner; and a brother, Harry Hepler Jr.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Lois L. Laudenslager Hepler; a son, Tim Hepler and his wife, Dawn, Lititz; a beloved granddaughter, Piper Hepler; two brothers, Jack Hepler, Gratz, and Kenneth Hepler, Valley View; a sister, Beverly Snyder, Herndon; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Barry Ridge will officiate at the service. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Gratz. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you plant a tree in "Peck's" memory or send a contribution to the Gratz Historical Society, Gratz, PA 17030.
