Harry C. Engle

Harry C. Engle, 81, of Oviedo, Fla., passed away peacefully May 12 after a long illness at Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, Fla.

He was born in Delano and graduated from Frackville High School.

Harry graduated with honors from Penn State University, Schuylkill Campus, Pottsville.

He served in the Army in Korea from 1953-54 and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant first class.

He was a past commander of VFW Post 5703, Frackville.

Harry was first employed by the A&P Co., Frackville, and retired from Sensors Inc., Saline, Mich., where he held the position of mechanical design manager.

Harry is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Janice Fellows, formerly of Gilberton; a son, Harry M. Engle; and a grandson, Eli J. Engle, Miramar, Fla.; sisters, Louise Canfield, Ashland, and Carole Fisher, Muskogee, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Norma Fellows Eisenacher, Tremont; nieces and nephews.
