Helen C. Galenis, 90, of Lancaster, passed away Monday at Evergreen Estates.
Born in Patriot Hill, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Elizabeth Wilcosky Bugdanenicz.
She worked as a trimmer for a former sportswear factory in Shenandoah and enjoyed shopping and her family.
Helen was a member of St. Casimir Roman Catholic Parish, Shenandoah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Galenis, July 8, 1993; brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol A. and her husband, William M. Malriat Sr., South Pasedena, Fla.; three grandchildren, William M. Malriat Jr., Suzanne Malriat and Michelle Reiff; and two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Sydney Reiff.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St., Columbia, with the Rev. Kenneth F. Lawrence as the celebrant. Final commendation and farewell will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Workman Funeral Homes Inc., 114 W.
