John R. "Jack" Corrigan

John R. "Jack" Corrigan, 84, of Fountain Street, Ashland, passed away Saturday at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Lost Creek, May 31,1929, he was the son of the late Daniel V. and Anna Garrity Corrigan.

Jack attended St. Joseph High School, Ashland, and graduated from Butler Township High School and McCann School of Business.

He was employed by the United States government as a management specialist, working in New Cumberland until retirement.

Preceding him in death were a sister, Joan V. Gaughan; and a brother, Don Corrigan.

Surviving are nieces, Linda, wife of John Damiter, Frackville, and Mary Joan Byrnes, Beltsville, Md.; and a great-nephew, John Damiter.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Ashland, with the Rev. Leo Maletz officiating. Interment will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements. Visit www.kullfuneral.com.
