Margaret "Peg" Malho Almeida, 91, of Lavelle, passed away Tuesday at home.
Born in Lavelle, Aug. 3, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Acacio and Della Slotterback Victoriano.
She was a member of St. Mauritius Roman Catholic Church, Ashland.
Peg attended Lavelle schools and operated Malho Coal Co., Lavelle, for many years until retirement.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Malho; second husband, Joseph Almeida; and a sister, Irene Dantas.
Surviving are her son, Ralph Malho, Lavelle; brother, Ralph Victoriano, Shamokin; three grandchildren, Tracey, wife of Charles Heizenroth, Shelly, wife of J.D. Shutt, and Christopher, husband of Darlene Malho; five great-grandchildren, Michael and Jordan Zelechoski, Jared Shutt and Desiree and Christopher Malho; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Ashland, with the Rev. John W. Bambrick as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Viewing will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland.
