Mary M. Boyle, 84, of Gay Street, Tamaqua, passed away Tuesday in Bethlehem.
She was the widow of the late Donald J. Boyle, who died in 1971.
Born in Minersville, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Molly Ryan Laudeman.
A graduate of the former Pottsville Catholic High School, Mary worked for various local garment factories and at the same time was a checker at the Hometown IGA.
She was a member of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, Tamaqua.
She was also a former member of the CWEA and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Mary was an avid follower of her grandchildren's sporting events and an avid Notre Dame fan.
Mary was predeceased by her brothers, William and David Laudeman.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Louise Gnall and her husband, Joseph, Whitehall, and Kathy Semko and her husband, George Jr., Tamaqua, with whom she resided; a son, William Boyle, Tamaqua; grandchildren, Lisa Brayford, Jennefer Clifford and her husband, Paul, Scott Semko and his wife, Dawn, Joseph B. Gnall and his wife, Jennifer, Ian Boyle, and Michael K. Gnall; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jerome Church, Tamaqua. Interment will be in St. Jerome Cemetery, Lombard Street, Tamaqua. Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, Tamaqua.
