Olive L. Bruchak

Olive Louise Bruchak, Frackville, died Friday morning at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Lost Creek, she was a daughter of the late Jerry and Martha Trexler Lindenmuth. She was a graduate of Conyngham Township High School, Class of 1942.

She had been employed as a secretary in the office of Senior Services for Schuylkill County until her retirement in 1990.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville, where she served on the congressional council and was also a member of the Bible study group. She was also a member of the Schuylkill County retirees, Order of Eastern Star Ashland Chapter 154, Mahantongo Chapter, Daughters of American Revolution, American Legion Auxiliary, Harry A. Case Post 289, Ringtown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Andrew Bruchak, 1997; two brothers, Roy in 1987 and Earl in 2006. She was the last member of her immediate family.

Olive is survived by her son, William, and also by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville, with the Rev. Oliver Brown, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family requests contributions in Olive's name to the memorial fund of Zion Lutheran Church, Oak and Nice Streets, Frackville, PA 17931.
