Sean Michael Mettam

Sean Michael Mettam, 42, of 22 N. Third St., Saint Clair, died Wednesday at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Pottsville, June 25, 1971, he was a son of the late Kenneth A. and Isabelle Ross Mettam.

A 1989 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Sean was the fourth generation owner of Mettam Brothers Lumber Co., Saint Clair.

He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair.

Surviving are his sister, Mimi Mettam and her husband, Michael Bulino, Saint Clair; brother, Kenneth Mettam and his wife, Melissa Hovan Mettam, Palo Alto; his girlfriend, Nicole Shappell, Saint Clair; and nieces and nephews, Justin Dutcavage, Ian Bulino, Rochelle Bulino, Luke Bulino, Taryn Johnson and Isabel Mettam.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St., Saint Clair, with Monsignor William Glosser officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Sean Mettam Memorial Fund for the restoration of the Boone Park/Middle Ward Playground, c/o Mimi Mettam, 142 N. Second St., Saint Clair, PA 17970.
