Charles Klinger Obituary

Charles David Klinger, 88, of Fearnot Road, Lykens Township, passed away Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born Sunday, Nov. 3, 1929, in Erdman, a son of the late Charles and Beulah Hain Klinger.

He was employed as an assembler at the Muskin Shoe Co. and was employed as a janitor at Penn Reel.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church, Erdman.

He was an avid bird watcher, loved horses and enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Klinger, and three sisters, Betty Erdman, Catherine Kissinger and Isabele Oxenrider.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Cemetery, Erdman. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com.
