Blanche Seiler Obituary

Blanche L. Seiler, 86, of Auburn, died Sunday at her residence.
Born in Auburn, Dec. 31, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Freeda Hummel Auman.
Blanche was last employed for the former Hubler Shoe Co. of Auburn until retiring.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran and Reformed Church, Auburn, and she attended Auburn Church of God.
Blanche was preceded in death by an infant sister; infant brother Floyd; brothers; Harry and George Auman; sister, Charlotte Shollenberger.
She is survived by a son, Paul Auman Sr. and his companion, Kathy Lafferty, Auburn; a daughter, Diane Schwenk and her husband, Larry, Auburn; two sisters, Ina Ruff, Allentown, and Emily Kerschner, Schuylkill Haven; five grandchildren, Harry Auman, Paul Auman Jr., Nelson Skinner, Sheri Wensel, and Sheila Skinner-Fry; 10 great-grandchildren, Shane Auman, Michelle Flail, Nathan Auman, Harry Auman Jr., Corrine Wensel, Megan Wensel, Nicole Skinner, Mason Skinner, Jacob Skinner, Kendall Fry; two great-great-grandchildren, Brandon Pyle and McKenzie Gina Flail; nieces and neph ews.
A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Schwenk officiating. Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. David Crowle of St. John's Lutheran and Reformed Church, Auburn. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Auburn.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Staller Luckenbill VFW Memorial Day Fund, P.O. Box 472, Third and Pine streets, Auburn, PA 17922.

I will always remeber going walking down to Granny's house with my mom when we lived in Auburn on Sundays. We would sit around the kitchen table and talk, and when I was a little girl she would always give me a glass of milk and some cookies! I will miss her alot!
