Bridget,
Sincere and loving sympathy to you and your family on Craig's death. I was sorry to read it in the paper online today, 8/21/12. As you may remember Craig was a member of the band, as were you, right? under my mother, Mrs. Cantwell and we spent many times laughing and talking and sharing stories. He was a very fine person and a good friend to me and to my mother. Please be sure you will be in our thoughts and prayers. May your memories help you through the sad times. God bless!
Lovingly,
Sister Geraldine Cantwell, IHM

Bridget and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Craig very well when he was a teacher with my father at CB East. I also remember seeing him in the halls at East while I was a student there. I will never forget his love of the movies. He would come to our house and he and my dad would set up all of the VCRs to tape hours of movies. I'm sure no one has a collection of VHS tapes like he has.

My family and I send all of our prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. God Bless.

Bridget and Family
Craig was a dear friend, former English & Theater Arts teacher at NBVM and former coworker at Nativity. One of my fondest remembrances of Craig was him setting up a special class for us 1965-S2 guys to learn about the movie appreciation. He opened our eyes to whole dimension of the arts. He was also, a good neighbor and Father. May the Lord grant Craig eternal peace; grant you, Bridget, and your children comfort in your time of sorrow. Our deepest sympathy, we will keep you in our prayers.

Rose & Thom Kupchinsky.

Richard & I were so sorry to read of Craig's passing. I substituted with him at local school districts. He was such a sweet person & often gave me very good advice. His knowledge of movies was amazing. We always joked about taking the nursing jobs on line. He will be greatly missed.

Craig was a very good friend and I will miss him. We were classmates at Nativity BVM High School where we played in the band together. We were classmates at Penn State and graduated together in 1963. In 2006 we went to Ireland with several Nativity classmates. We kept in touch via email and phone. We had our "secret saying" ever since high school that made both of us laugh out loud every time we uttered it, causing our wives to shake their heads in wonderment and ask, "Why do they continue to think saying that is so darn funny?" But to us it was always hilarious. Rest in Peace my friend.

The newspaper obituary was very touching in emphasizing Mr. Troutman's contributions as an educator. Mr. Troutman served as a substitute teacher for my father Frank at Schuylkill Haven High School. I met Mr. Troutman several times over the years and he was a fine gentlemen. Please accept my sincere condolences to the Troutman family.
