Edith Klinger Obituary

Edith Hannah Klinger, 83, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Spring Glen, passed away Tuesday at The Manor.
Born in Spring Glen, Sept. 10, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Gertie S. Wiest Kissinger.
She was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School and retired from the former Puritan Fashions, Millersburg.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Klinger, in 1987; a sister, Arlene Lucas; and two brothers, Elwood and Willard Kissinger.
Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy E. Blyler and her husband, Elvin, Spring Glen, and Linda M. Morgan and her husband, Ivan, Lewisberry; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Leroy Kissinger, Loyalton; and two sisters, Anna Wenrich, Spring Glen, and Ruth Smeltz, Millersburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Raymond Holland officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gerald Frey. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2263 Main St., Sacramento, PA 17968. Condolences may be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com.
