Harold Heberling Obituary


October 1, 2010

Harold D. Heberling, 77, of Williamstown, passed away Friday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.

Born in Tower City, July 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Howard Sr. and Ellen Fetterhoff Heberling.

Harold was a 1951 graduate of Porter Tower High School.

He was a Korean War Army veteran.

He retired from the former AMP Inc., Williamstown.

He was of the Lutheran faith, a 51-year member of Ashlar Lodge F&AM 570, Lykens, and a 50-year member of the Harrisburg Consistory.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Lamar.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Joan K. Shomper Heberling; a son, Russell Scott Heberling, Williams-town; a brother, Howard Heberling, Tower City; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made in his memory to Williamstown EMS, P.O. Box 74,Williamstown, PA 17098. Dimon Funeral Homes Inc. has charge of arrangements.
