Helen J, Buchinsky, 92, of 502 Main St., Gilberton, passed away Friday at Pottsville Hospital.

Born in Gilberton, Feb. 20, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Helen Cominsky Buchinsky.
She was employed as a waitress at the former Swade's Restaurant, Frackville, and as a sewing machine operator at City Shirt Company, Mahanoy City.
She was a member of Our Lady of Siluva Catholic Church, Maizeville, and Amalgamated Union.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Baldigo, and her brother, Charles Buchinsky. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her nieces, Mary Baldigo, who resided with her, Mildred Modugno, Va.; three nephews, John Baldigo, Pottsville, Dr. Vincent Buchinsky, Virginia, and Stephen Buchinsky, North Carolina; a great-niece, Mary McElhenny, Mahanoy City; several other great-nieces and great-nephews; and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Siluva Catholic Church, with the Rev. David W. Karns, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Wednesday morning until the time of mass at the church. Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, is in charge of arrangements.
