Helen Urbanowicz, 93, a former resident of West Arlington Street, Shenandoah, passed away Sunday morning at the home of her sister, Sophia L. Moll, Lawrenceville, Ga., where she resided for almost five years.
Born in Shenandoah, May 31, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Konstanty and Ludwiga Szmuski Urbanowicz.
She was educated in Shenandoah public schools and was a retired garment worker having last worked at the former Alma Dress factory, Shenandoah.
Helen was a member of St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Adele Urbanowicz and Josephine Curry and her husband, John; brother, Stanley Urbanowicz; nephew, Francis Curry; and great-nephew, Jeffrey Curry.
Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Sophia L. and her husband, Dr. Francis K. Moll, Lawrenceville, with whom she resided; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. There will be no viewing or services from the funeral home. Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.
