James F. Hahn, 86, of Cressona, passed away Sunday at Orwigsburg Center.
Born in Frackville, March 24, 1926, he was a son of the late James C. and Margaret Irvin Hahn.
He was the widower of Jane E. Willard Hahn, who passed away in 2007.
He served in the Navy in World War II.
He was formerly employed by Alcoa and Rest Haven.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and William Hahn.
Jim is survived by two sons, James L. Hahn, husband of Deborah, Schuylkill Haven, and Lawrence Hahn, Middletown; a daughter, Sara, wife of Charles Kalenkoski, Delaware; grandchildren, Jenifer Houtz, James Hahn Jr., Lucas Hahn, Emily Bidlingmeyer, Katrina Koppenhaver and Charles, Kyle, Ashley and Nicole Kalenkoski; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Graham, Frackville, and Harold, New Cumberland; a sister, Alice Schwartz, Ringtown; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, with the Rev. Jim Smith officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to St. James Episcopal Church, Dock Street and Paxson Avenue, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
