She married her high school sweetheart, Dr. Richard A. Greco Sr., on June 19, 1982, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by two sons, Richard A. Greco Jr. and Michael J. Greco; a sister, Judy D'Angelo, Selinsgrove; a brother and sister-in-law, Attorney Joseph and Laura Thiroway, Jamison; a brother-in-law and wife, Dr. Charles and Sandy Greco, Fruitland Park, Fla.; a sister-in-law and husband, Barbara and Joseph Iwanski, Kulpmont; and her mother-in-law, Mildred R. Greco, Mount Carmel.

Janet graduated from Mount Carmel Area High School in 1973 and St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, Ind., in 1977, with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at Shamokin State General Hospital, Shamokin, and Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, in the recovery room.

She spent the majority of her life as a stay-at-home mother raising her two sons, who were the pride and joy of her life. Both sons are currently medical students at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Janet was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Pottsville, and the Schuylkill Medical Center Auxiliary. She was also a member of the PA Nurses Association, and spent countless hours volunteering at All Saints Catholic School and Nativity BVM High School.
