Jean C. Holowaty, 77, of 300 S. Nice St., Frackville, died Monday at her residence.
Born in Frackville, July 21, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Eva White Cuttic.
Jean was a 1953 graduate of Frackville High School.
She was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, and the church choir, and St. Barbara Ladies Auxiliary, Frackville.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Holowaty; a daughter, Larissa Holowaty, Frackville; a son, Michael Holowaty and his wife, Ellen, Ashland; three brothers, Michael Cuttic and his wife, Carol, Frackville, Andrew Cuttic and his wife, Karen, Florida, and Basil Cuttic, Frackville; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, 209 S. Lehigh Ave., Frackville. The Very Rev. Archpriest James Jadick will officiate. Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Ascension Orthodox Memorial Fund. Interment will be in Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Butler Township. Nice Hart Funeral Home Inc., 9 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, is in charge of arrangements.
