Joan B. Kurilla, 84, of Homestead, Fla., formerly of Forestville, passed away Sunday at Brookwood Gardens, Homestead.

Joan was born in Pottsville, Sept. 18, 1933, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Lipka Bonalle.

Joan was in charge of the shipping and receiving department at her son Joseph's business, B&K Installations.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Phillip, in 1963, she was preceded in death by daughters, Helen D'Allago Berzowski and Genevieve Kurilla; a granddaughter, Joan Berzowski; a brother, Joseph Bonalle.

Joan is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Berzowski, Clifton, Tenn.; two sons, Phillip Kurilla, Norwegian Township, and Joseph Kurilla, Homestead; a sister, Genevieve Michelcavage; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Clare of Assisi Church, Saint Clair. Monsignor William F. Glosser is officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment is in Ss. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with the arrangements.
