Joan L. Bracey, 76, of 419 Broad St., Fountain Springs, died Monday at Broad Mountain Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.

Born in Frackville, she was a daughter of the late Vertal and Myrtel Miller Caton.
She was of Protestant faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Bracey, in 1990; a grandson, Wayne Bracey, in 1994; and a brother, Wayne Caton.
Surviving are a son, William Bracey, Ashland; a daughter, Pam, wife of Robert Yeager, Shenandoah; three brothers, Howard Caton, Allentown, Leonard Caton, Frackville, and Raymond Caton, California; a sister, Alma Auld, Gordon; four grandchildren, Amber and Kateyln Bracey, Joseph Webb and Tammy Cummings; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with the Rev. Richard Newman, Church of the Nazarene, Lavelle, officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
