John I. "Choo Choo" Covelusky, 56, of Frackville, died unexpectedly Monday evening while camping with his family at Indianhead Camp Grounds, Bloomsburg.

A lifelong resident of Frackville, he was born in Ashland and was a son of the late Joseph J. and Willmetta M. Pat Wagner Covelusky.

John was a member of Friendship Fire Company, Englewood. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and walking trails.

He is survived by two sisters, Joan A. Jones and husband, Daniel C., and Bonnie L. Palubinsky and husband, Thomas H.; and nieces, Kimberly A. Valentine and Hope A. Palubinsky, all of Frackville.

Religious services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, 48 N. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville, with the Rev. Sue Ketterer officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Frackville. Albert L.
