Josephine "Tootsie" Brozana, 80, of Minersville, passed away Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

She was born in Minersville, June 4, 1937, a daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Julia Worchick Rodnick. She was the widow of Frank S. Brozana.

She was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville, and the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Tootsie was a former seamstress, working in the local garment industry.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Strenkoski.

Tootsie is survived by a daughter, Joanne, wife of Donald Doyne. She is also survived by three sisters, Rose Spancake, Julia Silfies and Mary Rodnick; a brother, Joseph Rodnick Jr.; nieces and nephews.

A Religious Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, with the Rev. Leo Maletz officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation at 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka No. 2 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers in memory of Tootsie to perform an act of generosity or kindness throughout your day. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with the arrangements.
