Nancy Jo Doraski, 78, of Ashland, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning at home.

Born in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Roy "Sparky" and Maude Hall Adams.

She worked for Clorox Co. and in the housekeeping department at Geisinger, Danville, before her retirement.

Nancy was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Ashland. She was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 541, Catawissa, and also served as a bartender for many years.

She enjoyed crocheting and was very generous with the items that she made for many people. She was a great person who was loved by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Doraski.

Nancy is survived by her loving companion, James J. Cuff, Ashland; a son, Mike Van Cleave, Roseburg, Ore.; a brother, Edward E. Adams, Muncy; a sister, Alice Luce, Frewsburg, N.Y.; two grandsons, Steven and Fred Van Cleave; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Ashland, with the Rev. Paul Rothermel, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Friends may call at noon Tuesday at the church until the time of the Mass. Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville, Timothy M.
