Paige Murphy Obituary

Paige H. Murphy, 19, of 433 W. Washington St., Shenandoah, passed away April 17 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of Constance Murphy.
Paige was born with the life-crippling illness of cystic fibrosis. She never let this illness bring her down and was always the brightest and most bubbly person in the room; and whenever Paige would laugh or smile, you better believe you were too.
Paige was a warrior. No matter how hard the task in front of her was, she would go into it with the best attitude and the strongest will. Her friends and family were so important to her, and no matter what she was going through, she was always there for support. Paige you will be missed and forever loved. "BREATHE STRONG."
Paige is survived by her mother, Constance; brother, Patrick Murphy, Shenandoah; two sisters, Angel Murphy, Shenandoah, and Amber Murphy, Middleport; grandmother, Barbara Moser; grandfather, Richard Strohl; three nephews, Damien Whalen, Curtis Feathers and Jesiah Feathers; Uncle Richie and Aunt Rose.
The family would like to invite visitors to celebrate the life of Paige from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., 40 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The family would prefer contributions to the Paige Murphy Memorial Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 2 S. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, PA 17931. Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

You will always be my inspiration. The fact that no matter how much pain you were in or how you were feeling you always had that huge smile on your face no matter what. You knew how to brighten everyones day up. And if it wasnt for you Joey would of never went to the doctors to finally be seen. So therefore i thank you for finally getting him to be seen. Paige was my best friend. she brought joy to my life. she picked me up when i was down and was always there when i needed her. I thought a lot of why she isnt here and came to this conclusion. God is not cruel, he simply does not wish for a person so great to the world to have to live in it. i love and miss you paigee. you will forever be my bestest friend no one can replace you.

PJ and family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful girl with a big heart and always smiling. She went through so much in her short life. I am glad we got to know her and I know she is looking down on you all and will always be your guardian angel. I remember her walking with Addy and myself to the bus stop. When Addy and I went for our walks, she always had to rush over to her and pet her. She is one of the few people Addy let pet her. To the entire Murphy Family, I can't even imagine everything that you might be feeling at this time in your lives. Please know that no matter what Paige did she always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone.
