Paul Fedoriska, 84, of Minersville, passed away Monday, at The Meadows at York Terrace, Pottsville.

Paul was born in Courtney's in the Heckscherville Valley, Sept. 22, 1933, a son of the late George and Mary Rushanan Fedoriska.

He was the widower of Maureen F. Kimmel Fedoriska.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Minersville, and of the former St. Vincent de Paul Church, Minersville.

In his younger years, Paul was a devoted volunteer umpire with the Minersville Little League and more recent was an avid supporter of The Irish Lads orchestra.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Maureen, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Paul, George, Michael and Stephen Fedoriska, and a sister, Bertha Sheeler.

Paul is survived by a son, Richard P., husband of Georgine Fedoriska, Mill Creek; grandchildren, Erin and Colin Fedoriska.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville, with the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. Interment will be in Mount Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Nativity BVM General Scholarship Fund. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with the arrangements.
