Rosalie B. Jambeter, 68, of Girardville, died peacefully Saturday at home with her family at her side.

A native of Lost Creek, she was a daughter of the late Vincent P. and Loretta Carey Barrett.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Ladies AOH and the Girardville Historical Society, all of Girardville, and the Red Hat Society. She was a 1963 graduate of the former Immaculate Heart High School, Fountain Springs.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George J. Jambeter; and her daughter, Georganne Jambeter, Baltimore, Md.

A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m Thursday in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Girardville, with the Rev. Edward B. Connolly, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions, in Rosalie's name, to either the Girardville Historical Society, 1 W. Main St., Girardville, PA 17935 or to the , 101 W.
