Wilbur D. "Wib" Miller, 74, of Orwigsburg, passed away suddenly Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Orwigsburg, March 9, 1942, he was a son of the late Wilbur B. and Virginia H. DeMott Miller.

He was the husband of Susan J. Fetherolf Miller. They married July 5th, 1983.

He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Orwigsburg, and a Blue Mountain High School Graduate, Class of 1960.

He had served in the Marines as a Corporal and 1st Trumpeter in the Marine Corps Post Band from 1961 to 1965 and was retired from Transcontinental Direct, Hamburg, as a mail sorter.

In addition to his wife of 33 years, Susan, Wilbur is survived by two daughters, Andrea L. Miller, and companion, Matthew Leonard, and Monica Lynn Morgan, companion of Dana Gechter; grandchildren, Matthew and Emma Gechter; a sister, Virginia Hughes; twin brothers, Gale and Dale Miller; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Martha Rose Miller.

A Celebration of Wilbur's Life service will be held at noon Monday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Sunny Stock officiating. Military honors will follow. Friends can gather from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orwigsburg Food Pantry, C/O Edna Hart, 66 Hart St., Auburn, PA 17922.
