Wilma V. Goos, 91, Yallick Farms, Dallas, Pa., passed away Monday at her residence.

Born in Dortmund, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Wilhelm and Marie Barthel Flukert.

Wilma was a housewife and stayed at home to raise her children. She was a member of River of Life Ministries in Lehman as well as The German International Club of Schuylkill County. Some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, cooking and crocheting. She enjoyed the busy hands ministry that crocheted items for chemotherapy patients and homeless shelters.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Karl, in 2010, and a son, Thomas Goos, in 2015.

Surviving are her daughters, Yvonne Rostock, Larksville, and Monica Goos, Hot Springs, Ark.; grandchildren, Johnathan, Ellen and David Goos; sister, Anna Leisel Nispel, Germany.

A funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at The River of Ministries, Lehman, with the Rev. Ken Kreller, pastor of River of Life Ministries, officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the SPCA c/o 524 E. Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
