Isabelle Labenberg, 92, of Girardville, passed away Thursday at ManorCare, Pottsville.

Born in Girardville, April 8, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Eva Aranavage.

She and her husband, Allen, operated West End Bottling Works for many years.

A 1938 graduate of Girardville High School and McCann School of Business, she worked in Washington, D.C., during World War II and worked at the Ashland Hospital until retirement.

She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Roman Catholic Parish, Girardville, and a member of the Holy Rosary Society and Girardville Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Labenberg, in 1993; three sisters, Ann, Mildred and Helen; and two brothers, Peter and Vincent.

Surviving are a son, Allen Labenberg, husband of Babs, Conshohocken; three daughters, Eve Dermo, Branch Township, Clare Walsh, Taylor, and Joanne, wife of David Johnson, Stephen City, Va.; a sister, Florence Ritter, Phoenixville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Girardville, with the Rev. Edward Connolly as the celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Ringtown. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements.
