Ray C. Seigfried, born Aug. 21, 1927, in Auburn, passed away Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.

He was a son of the late Irvin and Katie Seigfried.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

Ray was employed at Ren-eer Films Corp. After retiring, he was employed by Ruth M. Steinert Memorial SPCA, Airport Road, Mount Pleasant.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Irvin; and a sister, Clair Ann Morrison.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Phyllis Reider Seigfried; a sister, Jane Picardi, Boston, Mass.; a son, Todd Seigfried and his wife, Ellen, Allentown; two stepdaughters, Taunia Roth Reed and her husband, David, Virginia Beach, and Dove Roth Breiner and her husband, Faron, Auburn; grandchildren, great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Ray's body was donated to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. Memorial donations may be made to the donors' favorite animal shelter. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, has charge of arrangements. To leave condolences for the family, please visit www.buffingtonreed.com.
