Margaret Mary "Meg" Miller Finlan, Ashland, passed away peacefully Sunday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Byrnesville, Centralia, May 3, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Catherine Brennan Miller.

She was a 1963 graduate of the former Ashland High School. She then graduated from McCann School of Business, Mahanoy City.

Meg was a secretary and also worked as a clerk in retail sales.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, Ashland.

Meg thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially walking through the woods and mountains.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and John Feeney.

Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Robert T. Finlan, pastor of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, Frackville, and Marty Finlan and his wife, Valerie, Lavelle; nieces and nephews, including Jim, Cathy, John and Bobby Feeney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church, 1104 Walnut St., Ashland. Private interment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery, Ashland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing from noon until 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, Ashland. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Birthright of Frackville Inc., 10 N. Lehigh Ave., Frackville, PA 17931. Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S.
