Daniel J. Leffew, 44, of 251 Spruce St., Minersville, died Tuesday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Ashland, Oct. 10, 1969, he was a son of Harry and Dixie Sattizahn Leffew, Palmyra.

A 1987 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, he was employed as a truck driver.

He was an Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Daniel was a volunteer for the Schuylkill County Homeless Shelter and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sons, Daniel Joseph Leffew, North Carolina, and Eric Leffew, Pottsville; three daughters, Kirstyn Leffew, North Carolina, and Kendalynn Leffew and Klarissa J. Leffew, both of Schuylkill Haven; and two brothers, John Leffew, Palmyra, and Barry Leffew, Rockville, Md.

Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment with full military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the service.
