Clifford C. Breidigan, 79, of Windsor Township, Berks County, died Monday evening at his residence surrounded by his loving wife, Arlene, and his best friend, Brian Angstadt.
Born in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Monroe and Gertrude Breidigan.
He was the husband of Arlene M. Kissling Breidigan, to whom he was married for 49 years.
Clifford worked as a coal miner for 10 years in Schuylkill County and then worked for many years as a union painter, Local 55, Reading, retiring in 1997.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Arlene, are sisters, Dorothy, Sara and Eleanor; and his best friend, Brian Angstadt, Windsor Township.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home Inc., 40 S. Fourth St., Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
