Regina H. Hromyak, 88, of Arlington Street, Tamaqua, died Tuesday in Bethlehem.

Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine Connoly Hyland.

Prior to retiring, she worked for factories in Brockton and Middleport, working the longest at Brockton Sportswear.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Hromyak, in December 1981; three sisters and two brothers.

She was a member of St. John XXIII Roman Catholic Parish, Tamaqua, and the Tamaqua Senior Citizens.

Surviving are sons, Michael Hromyak and his wife, Mary Lou, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Edward Hromyak and his wife, Donna, South Amboy, N.J.; daughter, Susan Clemson and her husband, Theodore "Boomer," Tamaqua; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 307 Pine St., Tamaqua. Interment will be in St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. An online guest registry can be found at www.zrgfuneralhomes.com.
